Q1. Define the term troubleshoot?

Ans.Identifying the cause of the problem in a system is called troubleshooting.

Q2. List the areas of troublshooting.

Ans.There are the three areas of troubleshoot:Hardware,Software And Operating system.

Q3. Write two common hardware problems you have come across.

Ans.Hardware problems that you might encounter are:

1)    Power Failure

2)    Loose connection with devices like keyboard, mouse,UPS etc.

Q4.List the problems you may encounter in a computer lab.

Ans.The problems you may encounter in a  computer labs are:

1)    CPU box heats up quickly

2)    System crash

3)    Browser display an error message.

4)    Computer restarts without any warning message.

Q5. Write three examples of operating system problems.

Ans. Three examples of operating system problems are:

1)    OS restarts without any warning message.

2)    OS stop responding

3)    OS file does not boot

Q6. Write the steps to troubleshoot before calling an expert.

ANS6.  Following are the steps to Troubleshoot a computer:-

1. Identify the Problem-Observe carefully and understand what exactly is not working or behaving differently.

2. Check the Basics- Make sure power is on, cables are connected properly, and switches or buttons are in the correct position.

3. Look for Obvious Issues

        Check for loose wires, error messages, unusual sounds, or anything broken or damaged.
      4. Try Simple Solutions
      Restart the device, clean it if needed, or follow basic instructions from the manual or textbook.

5. Decide to Call an Expert
    If the problem still continues after trying all simple steps, then contact a trained expert for help.
