Subject: Activities to be conducted on 10 August and the live telecast by the Hon'ble Mukhyamantri.


Respected Sir / Madam,


The Mukhyamantri Yuva Vidyarthi Manthan programme launches on 10 August. Three activities are to be conducted in your school that day, and one photograph of each must be uploaded to the portal.


1. Prayer assembly (morning)

Hold a special assembly — read out the Mukhyamantri's letter, explain the programme to students, and display the brochure.


2. Notice board

Display the brochure, timeline, essay topic and the portal QR code on the school notice board.


3. Live telecast — from 11:00 AM (new)

The Hon'ble Mukhyamantri will launch the programme, telecast live on YouTube. All schools must arrange to show this broadcast to students from 11:00 AM onwards.

Please ensure every eligible student of Classes 11 and 12 takes part. Note that each student must upload their own essay personally; schools cannot submit on their behalf.

3. Breaking Down a Problem:

  • Step 1: Go to the library catalog or computer system to look up the book's title or author and find its call number/section.

  • Step 2: Walk to the correct shelf section corresponding to the call number.

  • Step 3: Scan the spines of the books on the shelf to locate the specific book.

4. Debugging Challenge:

  • Mistake: The instructions miss spreading or adding a condiment/filling (like butter, mayonnaise, or placing the second slice of bread on top) before closing the sandwich, or missing the step of getting the ingredients.

  • Correction: Add a step between step 2 and 3: "Put the second slice of bread on top" or "Add fillings".

6. If-Else Challenge (Robot):

  • Answer: "Sorry, we only have pizza today."

Bonus Challenge:

  • Algorithm Design (Tying Shoelaces):

    1. Cross both shoelaces to make an 'X' shape.

    2. Tuck one lace under the other and pull tight to make a knot.

    3. Make a loop (bunny ear) with one lace.

    4. Wrap the other lace around the base of the loop.

    5. Push a new loop through the hole and pull both loops tight.
